Do not throw out items that are sellable. Items like a box of rubber bands or a tin of clock parts are sellable!
We do encourage you to go through your areas and make sure there are no personal belongings you’re keeping or paperwork that needs to be shredded or discarded. Please do remove these items from the sale areas.
DO NOT HIRE A DUMPSTER unless instructed by your estate sale team. Please do not throw things out unless advised to. This is so important to the success of your sale that I’ve mentioned it twice already! Some items you think are junk could be treasures to our buyers.
Remove only items that the family is going to keep. This should be done before our initial in-person meeting. We need this to be done already so we can assess the quantity and quality of items that are going to be in the sale to determine plans for the event and assess how much staff will be needed for the sale.
Clothing is sellable! Do not donate or throw out clothing! We have many clothing buyers.
Once these steps are completed we will be ready to have our initial meeting to give a complimentary estimate and review our terms. Please feel free to contact us along the way for help with any of these steps so we can help you reach your goals!
